I am super-excited (not to mention extremely flattered) to be this week's subject for Refrigerator Soup's "20 Questions With Our Favorite Food Bloggers" feature. After all these years as a writer/journalist, it was definitely a new experience to be the one answering, rather than asking, the questions. Here's a tiny little taste of the interview:
Refrigerator Soup: Do you watch a lot of cooking shows on TV?
Trix: ... because I love nothing more than a hot mess, I do like to catch re-runs of Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee. The food is just so appalling and hilarious, I can’t get enough – I especially love how excited she gets for cocktail time.
That's all you get! If you want to read the rest, please head on over to Refrigerator Soup and check it out. You'll learn the answers to such burning questions as: If I were a food, what would I be? Who are my culinary heroes? What superpower would I most like to have?
... And much, much, more!
Thanks so much to the crew at Refrigerator Soup - I had a great time doing it. I hope you all enjoy reading it, and if you get a chance stop back and let me know what you think.
Oh. My Gosh. I'm so excited for you! I'm heading over there right now to check out the gossip!
ReplyDeleteExcellent feature! I really enjoyed reading the interview and learning more about you!
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! Really could see your personality shinning through! Really liked the reply to the question about which food you would ban! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Congrats on your feature and loved reading more about you! What a wonderful accomplishment to finally be the one to get interviewed.
ReplyDeleteTruly deserving!
Congratulations on the 20 questions! I appreciate your view on Sandra Lee... I usually get angry and turn her off, but now I think I am going to tune in and compare the "wet" episode to the "dry". One of my Food Network fav.'s is Giada, the skinny chick that over emphasizes any word derived from Italian.
ReplyDeleteTRIX!!
ReplyDeleteLOVED your answers, thanks so much for putting so much thought into your feature. Especially love your perspective on Sandra Lee...we might have to TiVo and episode just to have a laugh! Cheers to you and your awesome blog!

Also you should put up that dish you were having the day your husband encouraged you to be a blogger. It sounded awesome :)

Enjoyed finding out more tit bits too, like the fact that your hubby is the one who spurred you to start your blog and he helps out with your photos! I agree totally with you on the foods to be banned. All in all, this interview reminded me of what a unique and original blog and person you are!
